Winter Walking Challenge 2026
We’re thrilled to welcome you to this years Winter Walking Challenge, a month-long journey to boost your wellbeing, connect with nature and make new friends.
By signing up, you’ve taken the first step toward a healthier, happier start to the year. Whether you’re walking solo, with friends, family, or your canine companion, this challenge is all about getting outside every day in January come rain or shine and developing your fitness and confidence.
Walking is one of the simplest and most powerful ways to improve your physical and mental health. It’s gentle on the joints, great for your heart, and a brilliant way to clear your mind. Plus, getting outside during the winter months helps top up your vitamin D and reconnect with the natural world around you.
This walk is the second of 4 group walks we will be hosting throughout January.
Meeting point: National Trust Middle Beach Car park,Studland.

Start Time: 10am
From here we will walk around 6.28 miles through heathland up to the headland of Old Harry Rocks with a 20 minute break. perfect if you want to bring some snacks and flask as take in the views.
We should be back at the car park by 2pm.
