HIKE DESCRIPTION:
The hike will be led by David Moezinia, Ali Meisel and Jeff Zimerman with EOA & IKAR Sababa Group & Adventure Circle. This is a moderate 4.5-mile hike with some small hills. The hike ends at approximately 1:00 p.m. At the halfway point we will have a “lunch and learn.”
Expect a vibrant display of spring wildflowers, with the park's diverse ecosystems offering a variety of blooms, including those in chaparral, grassland meadows, and oak woodlands, along with sycamore, redwood, and walnut trees with wonderful bird-watching opportunities and much more.
PETS: Dogs ARE allowed on leash.

As the north entrance of the park is CLOSED due to a landslide, please enter through the South Entrance and meet at the large parking lot at the north end of the park.

WHAT TO BRING:
Bring Water (one liter minimum), Hat, Sunscreen and Sunglasses, and your picnic lunch/energy bars/trail mix.
FOOTWEAR: Hiking boots or trail running shoes with good traction are highly recommended. Absolutely no sandals or open toed shoes.

CONDITIONS TO PARTICIPATE!!!!
Please allow plenty of time flexibility when participating in our hikes / activities!
If you are unsure of your fitness level please join us on one of our easier hikes before doing any advanced hikes. We would recommend that you can walk at least 6 miles before coming on any of our hikes.
It is not appropriate to RSVP for an event and not show up. Members can be terminated for repeated offenses.
Please read the description of the event carefully before attending to see if it is suitable for you. Please do not participate if the event is not suitable for you.
