Tortoises, turtles and terrapins- oh my! On this walk we will focus on the mysterious and interesting lives of our iconic Gopher tortoise as well as conservation and management efforts aimed to sustain them. For this walk we will be joined by a Florida Fish and Wildlife Conservation Commission tortoise specialist who will teach us all about this wonderful animal. Don't miss out!
DETAILS
FREE program, but reservations are required
This program will begin at 8:30am and last until approximately 10:30am
The walk will be 1-2 miles across various natural surfaces
Please wear appropriate outdoor clothing and footwear
Bring water, sunscreen, and bug spray
Minors (under 18) must be accompanied by an adult
All participants will be required to sign waivers that will be provided at the start of the program
