Born in the late ‘60s, Northern Soul was all about rebelling against the charts and digging deep for those fast, foot-stomping Motown and soul records. The dancefloors of Wigan Casino, The Torch, and Blackpool Mecca became legendary, packed with all-nighters fuelled by infectious beats, athletic moves, and serious style. And guess what? The spirit is still alive and kicking.
