Make your own Chalfest mini notebook, 20th July, 12.40pm - 1.30pm

It’s time for some summer festival fun as we pitch the Victoria Works Studios ‘Making Marquee’ at Chalfest again this year! The festival takes place on 19th July at France Lynch Pleasureground in Chalford Hill, Stroud. Its a great community event that attracts some big name performers and is fun for all the family.

Join Bookbinder and Illustrator Kate Lennon on this fun taster session for the complete beginner to bookbinding. You will to make small books with simple materials found in the recycling bin! It's a fabulous and creative way to use up your card recycling. This will be a fun and relaxing introduction to the basics of stitching together your own books. These delightful and unique notebooks can be given as gifts to loved ones or you can use them for sketchbooks or list keeping, as Kate herself does. Participants must be age 16+ for this workshop
