Queer, alt-folk agitators, Dryadic deliver a tight, infectious blend of rootsy folk with a melodic pop flair on strings and keys, peppered with hearth soaring vocals, and vibrant fiddle licks.
Dryadic's distinctive sound and connected live show command the audience with tenacious singalong hooks delivered straight from the heart, backed up by epic layered harmonies, raw energy, emotion and stage presence. Feel-good, rousing rhythms underpin candid, humorous lyrics reflecting lead singer and songwriter Zora McDonald's passions, beliefs and politics. Expect foot-stomping feminist protest songs and travelling folk tales, to dreamy epic ballads where the five string fiddle and double bass like to do-si-do in the audience.
