Gloucestershire House Clearances are trialling an event to give back to the community. We’re offering a one-day free waste clearance service to as many people as we can this August, to help Stroud (GL5/GL6 postcodes) residents who are struggling to remove household waste or bulky items.
The aim of this event is to improve our local area. Some ideas might be;
- Litter pick a commonly used public walkway
- Improve living conditions by removing a pile of stuff that is causing a hazard minimising trips and falls in the home
- Removal of a large item like a sofa from inside the house of a vulnerable person who otherwise cannot organise collection.
All we ask is you fill in the form linked in the post below to register your interest. We will get in touch with the ones we choose to clear this time around and will keep others on file for any future events we may do. We may also be able to signpost to other organisations if we can't help you.
We will need the permission of the property owner to carry out the clearances so if you apply for a neighbour, please let them know you have done so.
