Wonderland Jr. Auditions

Auditions for Streamwood Park District Musical Theater's new Summer Program "Wonderland Jr." take place 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. Sunday, May 18 in the dance studio at Park Place Family Recreation Center, 550 S. Park Blvd.

Auditions are open to youth ages 7-18 years old. If you are seeking a speaking role, come prepared to read a provided monologue from the show. If interested in a lead role, prepare to perform a 2-minute musical theater song. If interested in an ensemble role, then you may sing in a group with a provided song. Dress comfortably so you can learn a simple dance.

Rehearsals are 6-8 p.m. Wednesdays and Fridays from June 4-July 26. (Off week of 4th of July.) Dress rehearsal is Wednesday, July 30. Shows are Friday, August 1 and Saturday, August 2.

Program cost is $185 for residents and $195 for non-residents.
