We are back!!! After a long winter, we are so excited to get back out on the water for Light Up The Night Kayaking 2025!
This event is Wild Wild West themed so feel free to dress up in your cowboy or western themed clothing. You can also decorate your kayak and remember to light it up!
The event begins at 9:00pm at Tom Patterson Island. At 9:00pm, paddlers will circle the island a few times before heading down the river and back. Spectators can view from anywhere along the river but will get the best view from the island. Paddlers and spectators are all encouraged to dress up and join in on our Wild Wild West theme.
Since the event starts at 9:00pm, we ask that all paddlers arrive prior to allow themselves time to decorate and be on the water and at the island for 9:00.
The theme is just a suggestion but lights, lifejackets, and safety kits are a requirement. Additionally, we remind everyone to dress appropriately for the weather as well as bring things like bug spray to make the night as enjoyable as possible.
