Known as one of Canada’s top harmonica players, Al brings decades of experience, blending his instrumental mastery with insightful and wry songwriting.



Al’s career spans over 50 years, including his time as the founder and leader of the iconic band FATHEAD and his work with the Maple Blues Band. His latest album, Country-Fried Blues (2024), has been making waves internationally. Whether performing solo or with a group, Al captivates audiences with stories from his rich musical journey and his deeply personal connection to the blues tradition.
