Stage Two: The Stowmarket Stage

For the first time ever, Suffolk hosts two stages in one edition of the Tour! Stage 2 starts and finishes in Stowmarket, taking in scenic Mid Suffolk and Babergh countryside.

Riders head out via Stowupland and Forward Green, passing through Debenham and Bedfield, before the intermediate sprint in Stradbroke (at 40 km). The route continues across to Eye and Thurston, then loops south through Felsham, Lavenham, and Sudbury, with views across the Dedham Vale National Landscape.

In the closing kilometres, riders tackle the race’s first King of the Mountains climb at Semer Hill, just after Hadleigh, before the final run back to Stowmarket.
