Where:
Beach Corner church gym. West of Edmonton, about 20 minutes between hwy 16 and 16a on RR14

When: Starting very Sunday between 1 and 6 pm from now until we open the outdoor track in the summer.
Who: All are welcome! We have two tracks set up. One for the beginner to build your skills and try out the hobby and another for the racer who wants to put down some serious laps.
The track fee is $10 if you bring your own cars and access to both tracks for open practice is available until 3:30pm. when the racing starts on the big track! Open practice on the beginner track is all day from 1-5pm. Feel free to stick around and watch or join in if you have a car that fits the class. Race fees may apply.
If you bring your own cars, our track is limited to 10th scale buggy and smaller. Cars should be clean as we want to keep the track in good racing condition and are limited to 2 cell lipo (7.4v) or 6 cell nimh.
Transponders are available for rent for $10 or can be purchased through the club.
We offer car rentals for both tracks. That way, if you've never raced before, you can come out and have a great time, and your skills increase. Then, try out a few different cars before you purchase the car that suits you best!
Rentals are as follows:
Beginner
$20/ half an hour, which includes race instruction on track etiquette and how to get your car around the track as fast as possible. Add $10 for extra time if your having too much fun! Or if the bigginer track is too easy for you upgrade to the main track and a racing car for just $5.
Or $60/half hour family/group rate for 4 cars (10 for every additional car), which includes the same instruction on track etiquette and performance! Add $30 for extra time nifty your kids don't want to stop!
$25/half hour for racing rentals.
This includes the transponder rental to track your laps as well as access to the big track to put your skills to the test against other racers. Add $15 for every extra 1/2 hour.
Race classes are yet to be determined based upon what the community brings in
