About the Walk: Join Friends of the Fells to celebrate biodiversity in plants and people with a walk around the Pollinator Garden at the Middlesex Fells.

Happy Pride! Walking through the garden, we will observe queer themes that occur in the studies of plants, fungi, and animals. In addition to enjoying the colorful spring blooms, we will learn about why biodiversity is important in local habitats, communities, and beyond. Please feel free to bring a hand-lens, binoculars, and/or a camera to improve your plant viewing skills. We recommend that attendees dress in weather-appropriate attire and footwear in addition to carrying insect repellent and/or sunscreen.

Parking is available at the Botume House Visitor Center Parking Lot at 4 Woodland Road in Stoneham (Google Maps location). Overflow parking is available at the Spot Pond Boating Lot down the road (Google Maps location). We will meet at the Botume House Visitor trailhead.
