Join Arabia Rangers on a relaxing Bike Tour through the Arabia Mountain PATH! Along the way, Ranger Shaundon will share insights into the area’s unique geology, diverse ecosystems, and cultural history.

What to Expect:

• A moderately-paced bike tour suitable for most skill levels, but mostly oriented towards beginner riders.
• Educational stops to explore specific natural & cultural features.
• Opportunities to spot wildlife and enjoy views of the preserve’s unique terrain.

Distance & Difficulty: Our ride will be 8-10 miles depending on our pace. This tour is a hybrid between a naturalist-led interpretive experience and a leisurely bike ride. If you're looking for an intense cardio workout or continuous pace, this may not be the best fit. We’ll make frequent stops to explore natural features, observe wildlife, and talk about the landscape. That said, inexperienced/younger riders should be mindful of their own limits and, particularly, the limits of any youth they bring along.

The terrain includes some uneven surfaces and moderate inclines. There is also one really large hill climb towards the end of the tour (though the downhill ride after is majestic).

Tricycles are not appropriate for this event; participants should ensure they have suitable bikes for trail riding.

Bike rentals will be available on site with Aztec Cycles. Rentals are $25.

What to Bring:

• A working bicycle suitable for trail riding (unless you are renting)
• A helmet is recommended.
• Water bottle and snacks for energy.
• Comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing and closed-toe shoes.

Location: Please arrive 15 minutes early at the Arabia Mountain Nature Center: 3787 Klondike Rd. Stonecrest, GA 30038 for check-in and a brief safety orientation.
