Hold onto your glow sticks guys as we prepare for our final rave in our original downstairs space.
This room was where we held the first ever monthly Born Free. The space where we realised that the extended editions needed to be regular. The space where the foundations of #themovementmovement were laid.
There is ecstatic dance where movement is about feeling, flow, expression and connection.
There is Sober raving which are nights that resemble regular nights out but minus the intoxicants.
Then we have Born Free….. all the expression and connectedness of ecstatic dance but somehow with the vibe of a club and musical heights that even the world’s greatest raves would be proud of.
It is the dance that created its own genre…. ECSTATIC RAVE!
This time our masters of raving ceremony are DJ T @terrifirmston and BEN @full.body.alchemy who will be playing back to back and lighting up the dancefloor with their unique musical menus! We’ve experienced supreme sets on #manchestersweeklyconsciousdancefloor from both these masters recently so we cannot wait to witness this co created extravaganza of dance!💃🏼 🕺🏻
In the grand tradition of Born Free monthly raves we offer this experience on a PAY AS YOU FEEL BASIS meaning that everyone can dance regardless of circumstance. We do politely ask for donations of £15-£20 if it’s available to you as this is what allows for others to give a little less if they need to. Together this community has carried each other through 4 solid years of rave glory on this basis. Your generosity built this dance! 🥰
This time we bring you no particular theme. We are leaving the dancefloor as your artistic canvas for the night!

THE RAVE!
So maybe choose a favourite theme from over the years or create your own ensemble or even just come in your joggers prepared for a conscious workout. The choice is yours, all is welcome. 🤗
