Andy Fite is a singing jazz guitarist and songwriter who moved to Sweden from New
York City in 1994, and has written over 1000 songs and has 70 albums available on
the streaming platforms like Spotify and Apple Music. He’s best known in Sweden for
his work with his longtime friend and former student Amanda Ginsburg. Asked years
ago to describe himself in as few words as possible, he got it down to three: Jazz
Comic Philosopher.
Annie Ivarsson is a young and incredibly gifted singer who came for a singing lesson
with Andy in January 2025, and astonished him by flawlessly singing several of his
more challenging songs. She continues to astonish in her ability to take on ever more
difficult things, and then to sing it all so easily and naturally, with a sweet pure sound
and a happy look on her face. A rising star!
