It is an easy 60 minute paddle down river towards the Trump Golf Course and we cross the river and paddle under the C&O and up Seneca Creek. There should be live music at Riley's lock. Always a good time. Music starts at noon and let's pull out of the water and bring chairs or blankets and have a picnic. Then we paddle back.
Maryland peeps can paddle in the opposite direction and return to Riley's with us.
Meet at 11:00 AM at the Algonkian boat launch.
Total distance is six miles.
Expect to pay a small launch fee if you don't have the NOVA pass.
Remember to pay the launch fee or buy the annual pass.
