Three Tall Women

Sea View Playwright’s Theatre will hold auditions for their upcoming production of Edward Albee’s Pulitzer Prize winning play THREE TALL WOMEN on Sunday, June 22 from 1-4PM at the Sea View Playwright’s Theatre, 460 Brielle Avenue, Staten Island, 10314. The production is scheduled to open Saturday, November 15 for a 5 performance, 2 weekend run.

There will be a brief summer workshopping of the show and blocking rehearsals will begin in mid September.

Seeking 3 actress for the roles of:
“A” – a very old woman; thin, autocratic, proud, as together as the ravages of time will allow.
“B” – looks rather like “A” would have at 52. Very plain in appearance.
“C” – looks rather as “B” would have at 26.

Auditions will consist of readings from the script, so please be familiar with the play.

As much as we encourage everyone to audition, it is very important to note that once blocking rehearsals begin, it is essential that the actors cast must have fairly open schedules with few conflicts since all cast members will be needed at the majority of rehearsals.
