We’re opening Rhoneymeade Fest 2025 with something truly special.
Join us for an intimate, one-of-a-kind evening at Manny’s, State College’s newest home for adventurous sound. On June 5th, we’re thrilled to host a live recording of Essential Tremors, the acclaimed NPR podcast that explores the music that shapes our lives. Known for their deep, thoughtful conversations with some of the most creative minds in music and culture, Essential Tremors brings a singular lens to the artists we love—and now, they bring that experience live to our stage.
Their guest? None other than the phenomenal Wendy Eisenberg—guitarist, composer, improviser, and genre-defying force. Wendy's work lives in the fertile space between free jazz, experimental rock, and avant-pop, and their music has captivated audiences around the world with its emotional depth and radical imagination. Following the interview, Wendy will grace us with a stunning solo performance you won’t soon forget.
Opening the night is Laura Boswell, one of State College’s most evocative songwriters, whose lyrical sensitivity and haunting melodies will set the tone perfectly.
This event marks the official start of Rhoneymeade Fest, a weekend-long celebration of international music and culture, held between the natural beauty of Rhoneymeade Arboretum & Sculpture Garden and the vibrant streets of downtown State College. Curated by Gorinto Productions // Secret Planet the festival brings global artists and local community together in a celebration of sonic exploration.
