This moderate 4.2-mile out-and-back hike gives you a lot with NC's first Forest Bathing Trail, an 'Enchanted Forest', Carter Falls and the opportunity to see an abundance of native plants and wildlife. Dogs on leash are welcome, bring water and snacks. Hike is predominantly shaded from start to finish except for some very short road-walking sections.
