New Wyndham, a pleasant little town, part old style village, part postwar new town. Almost everyone works at the biggest local employer, Winnerden Inc. There are rumours of strange goings on in New Wyndham, lights in the sky, missing hikers, local school children being bussed to and from a military hospital, trucks that leave the Winnerden facility in the middle of the night and Old Mr. Witherspoon out at the haunted manor…
Players have to create a Cast of suitable investigators who have become stranded in New Wyndham or a Cast which represents the local people. The Investigators must attempt to gather evidence and escape from the town. The Locals have to stop them and erase the evidence.
Each Cast consists of 40 Ratings consisting of either Heroic, Villainous or Neutral Profiles. The profile cards may be drawn from the CRB or ‘80’s options. Players should declare their allegiance before the event or may be allocated to a faction on the day.
There will be four episodes in total on the day, with table setups representing different locations in New Wyndham. There will also be ‘guest stars’ in each location, who will come under the control of either the Escapee or Local Cast. In addition, the Cast members who start out on the day may not be around in every episode…
