Showcase Overview

• Inspired by the eternal question from the classic poem Moon over the River on a Spring Night — "When did this moon first shine upon us?" — MoonSong weaves together classical, folk, and contemporary Chinese dance into a mesmerizing journey across time and tradition.
• This showcase features 11 breathtaking dance performances, each embodying the moon’s poetic symbolism—as a witness to history, a connector of cultures, and a silent guide through human emotion.
• This showcase also features other Stanford student performing groups, celebrating the universal language of movement and music.

Audience Experience

• Pre-Show (10 mins before curtain): Like the moon needing time to rise, our artists invite you to join us 10 minutes before the journey begins to synchronize your pulse to our drums. Admission starts at 6:30PM.
• Parking Advisory: Limited availability near venue. Arrive early for stress-free parking at Tresidder parking lot.
