Mark "Curly" Bladen Memorial Match

Hi All,

Following on from the success of previous years, we are back for a third year running! On Saturday 17th May, we’re hosting a memorial football match for Mark ‘Curly’ Bladen, who sadly passed away in July 2022. We hope to raise awareness for good causes in his name.

The match will be held at Wittering, Cambridgeshire (PE8 6BY), with a 12:30pm KO planned.

All are welcome and we appreciate this is fairly late notice so any and all attendance is highly appreciated!

Not only are we raising funds for good causes. We would like to start raising awareness and for other support networks that may not be as well known. This year we have chosen two fantastic organisations in Clairre's Law and Sarah's law. These organisations hope to provide information in order to keep yourself and your children free from harm.

Matchday Details:

- 11-a-side football match at 12:30pm with the kind permission of Wittering FC to use their facilities. This will be roll on roll off.

- Food will be available provided by the Wittering Sports and Social Club.

- Bouncy Castle (TBC) and Games.

- The FA Cup Final is being shown at the Sports & Social (Kick off 3pm). A ‘minute of first scorer’ raffle will be held for £1 per entry. The winner will receive half of the pot (up to £45) and the rest will go to the charity.

Parking is available behind the sports and social (off Townsend Road) but may be limited. There is also on street parking available close by on Burghley Avenue or other streets nearby.
