All Saints Church, Tinwell.
Doors 6.30pm, concert starts 7pm
Welcome! International concert artists Eleanor Turner (harp) and Alan Thomas (guitar) are joined by young up-and-coming soprano Kasia Middleton, whose voice will transport you to a nostalgic and peaceful Christmas.
Kasia Middleton (soprano), Alan Thomas (guitar) and Eleanor Turner (harp) are delighted to invite you to their candlelit concert at Tinwell's beautiful church, nostalgically named 'The Christmas Tree Fairy'. The music will include traditional carols, Ave Maria by Schubert, Sufjan Stevens and Alan Thomas songs, Maria Wiegenlied by Max Reger, Timelapse by Ludovico Einaudi and Britten's Corpus Christi Carol.
Please bring a cushion and/or blanket if you wish to be cosy. The church will be heated but it is still December! Refreshments and facilities in the village hall. Access to the church is sadly not wheelchair accessible. If you need some assistance with mobility, please email
aW5mbyB8IGVsZWFub3J0dXJuZXIgISBjb20= in advance and we will make sure you have some assistance and good light to get into the church safely.
Tinwell’s All Saints Church will be host to mostly traditional Christmas music and a few virtuosic surprises. The first half will be longer, with an interval for wine, juice, tea or coffee and mince pies or nibbles over in the village hall at 8pm, followed by a shorter 30 minutes of music after the break. Ticket price includes one drink and refreshments. Subsequent drinks will be available for a small donation.
We would love to welcome children to the church too and will reserve the front row for anyone with children.
