About the event

Free Berimbau Workshop
This will be an immersive experience. We will be crafting a Berimbau. A berimbau is a single string instrument played with a stick and a rock. They are used within the Capoeira martial art discipline, also in various dance & storytelling cultures around the world. It is known to have originated in Angola, a central African country. All materials and tools will be provided!

We will also be having dinner prepared by one of our hosts, Seneca (AKA) Thunderkleez who is also a brilliant Chef!

Paintsville Tourism has made it possible for you to participate for FREE! You will leave with a one of a kind hand-made instrument and a full belly!
