Woodstock Variations w/ Walter Parks. In Gratitude & Tribute to Richie Havens

For 10 years, Walter Parks, was the sideman guitarist for Woodstock legend Richie Havens. Upon Havens’ 1967 Guild acoustic guitar Walter performs renditions of his favorite tunes from both The Woodstock Festival and Havens repertoires. Relevant stories and recollections of Walter’s travels with Havens preface the songs.

With Richie, Walter performed in Madison Square Garden, Carnegie Hall, The Glastonbury Festival, The Cannes Film Festival and Lincoln Center. Walter's Okefenokee Swamp music research is archived in The Library of Congress.
