Packing for the Unexpected at the STL Fringe Festival

At the crossroads of mayhem and meaning, this one-woman show from National Storytelling Festival Slam finalist Amanda Lawrence is for anyone whose life has taken a sudden turn. Described by critics attending its premiere as “unvarnished and beautiful,” "hilarious and deeply moving," and “universally adored,” the show dances nimbly from comic gems to moving meditations, taking audiences on an unforgettable journey. Based on the creator's own experiences, “Packing for the Unexpected” is a step-by-step guide to surviving hospitalizations, recovering lost underwear, escaping gingerbread houses, and letting go of the life you’ve planned to embrace the one that is waiting for you. Come to laugh, cry, and wonder. Leave feeling ready for anything.
