Marty Supreme

A 2025 American comedy-drama directed by Josh Safdie from a screenplay by Ronald Bronstein, loosely based on the life and career of American table tennis player Marty Reisman. Starring Timothée Chalamet, the film also features Gwyneth Paltrow, Odessa A'zion, Kevin O'Leary, Tyler Okonma, Abel Ferrara and Fran Drescher. Cinematographer Darius Khondji shot the film on 35mm film, and Daniel Lopatin composed its musical score.

Marty Supreme premiered at the 2025 New York Film Festival and has received critical acclaim with praise for its direction, screenplay, editing, score and Chalamet's performance. The film received three nominations at the 83rd Golden Globe Awards: Best Motion Picture – Musical or Comedy, Best Actor for Chalamet and Best Screenplay for Safdie and Bronstein. Rolling Stone critic David Fear likened Chalamet's performance to the early work of Al Pacino and Dustin Hoffman, describing it as 'a constant state of motion even when standing still'.
