Loosely based on the life story of British comedian John Bishop, the film is set in the New York stand-up comedy scene, with Alex’s renewed interest in stand up, while his marriage to Tess is at the crossroads. Tess also confronts the sacrifices she made for their family and they both are forced to navigate co-parenting, shifting senses of identity and a burning question: Can love and commitment take a new form?

​Directed by Academy Award-nominated filmmaker Bradley Cooper (A Star Is Born, Maestro) with Will Arnett, Laura Dern and Ciaran Hinds.
