Early Childhood Workshop: Art and Creativity for Regulation

Using the power of aesthetic and sensory experience we can create opportunities for emotional regulation. This FREE hands-on workshop for early childhood educators with teaching artist Alexandra Turner, M.Ed, will give participants the opportunity to experience a variety of arts materials, mindfulness activities and sensory experiences, and plenty of time to reflect and discuss. Light meal provided, and educators can earn professional development hours through BFIS. Space limited, so register early. Funding provided, in part, by an Early Childhood Arts Partnership grant from the Vermont Arts Council.
