🎹 Alla Melnychuk is a concert pianist from Ukraine with experience performing across Ukraine, Estonia, Poland, and France. She moved to St. John's, NL in May 2022.
🎻 Maria Cherwick is a versatile violinist and fiddler based in St. John's, NL. she tours internationally, showcasing a range of genres from Ukrainian traditional and classical to folk and bluegrass music.
Together, they formed Sunflower Duo in the fall of 2022 and have already captivated audiences in St. John's through various events. They were featured in Shelley Neville's last three shows, "O Holy Night," and had a summer tour across the island in 2023 and 2024.
✨Their concert will feature a diverse program that encompasses classical, Ukrainian, and jazz styles, including contemporary arrangements of Ukrainian folk songs and innovative classical compositions. With pieces composed as recently as last year, there is something for everyone to enjoy.

Our max capacity is 35 so larger groups (>3 people) should purchase tickets well ahead of time. Walk-ins may be available on the day of the show - please drop in or call 709-722-9167 to confirm.
Our Kitchen closes at 4:00pm, but snacks and baked treats are available till 9:00.
Please arrive at least 15 mins early to get seated and avoid the rush. Groups of 3 or more will be assigned a table; free seating for singles and couples. Please check in with our staff before seating yourself.
