Music @ Concert Series - Morgan Toney

Join us Friday, August 22 from 12:30 to 2:30 for a another special edition of our Music @ Harbourside Park concert series!

As part of the @2025 Jeux du Canada Games ARTA VISTA program, this concert features Morgan Toney, a Mi’kmaq fiddler and singer from Cape Breton who blends fiery Cape Breton fiddle with ancient Mi’kmaq songs, creating a unique “Mi’kmaltic” sound. His debut album, First Flight, showcases this fusion of traditional and original music, exploring themes of heritage, language, and social justice. Nominated for multiple East Coast Music Awards, Toney is celebrated for bridging cultures and bringing Mi’kmaq stories to new audiences.
