Intro to Printmaking: Blind Contour Block Printing Workshop

Join Charlotte for an introduction to printmaking using the playful technique of blind contour drawing.You’ll start by creating a few blind contour portraits—a fun drawing exercise where you draw without looking at the page. The goal of this process is to quiet the logical brain and tap into a more intuitive, body-led way of seeing and making. From there, you’ll choose your favourite drawing, transfer it to a lino block, and print your very own design on paper. Feel free to bring a tote bag if you'd like to print on fabric! This workshop is perfect for beginners with no prior art experience.
