Hourly Comic Day

Downtown Comics, in partnership with St. John's Comic Arts Festival and Eastern Edge Gallery, is holding an Hourly Comics Day event at Eastern Edge Gallery on Sunday, February 1st from 12pm-5pm..

The idea of Hourly Comics Day is to create one comic for every hour you are awake and to feature what your day brings as your subject matter.

This is a free, all ages and all skill levels event.

Never tried comic creation? It is an opportunity for you to come and try it out. Stretch that creative muscle!

It is an opportunity for comic creators worldwide to participate in a communal creative challenge, and also to explore biographical comics. (Although nothing is set in stone as far as subject matter goes, the basic challenge is a comic an hour.)
