Calligraphy for Beginners

Calligraphy is a technique that creates elaborate hand-lettering traditionally made using a pen and brush. It has been around for centuries and has been used in many different cultures and languages. Even though it was created years ago, you can see calligraphy everywhere: invitations, magazines, newspapers and wall art. Learning calligraphy is fun and easy.

In this class, you will learn basic strokes to write using calligraphy and a basic marker.

Skill Level: Beginner
Materials Included: All materials included
Ages 10 and up. Those under 12 need a parent present.
