CONSUL’S HAPPY HOUR
Everyone is invited to celebrate (a bit early) the French Fête nationale.
At 12.00, the Honorary French Consul will welcome you all with an official speech followed by the singing of La Marseillaise and a “Vin d'honneur” (drinks & nibbles).
With two amateur bands coming specially from Normandy to perform on Le French Festival stage, the pupetteer performance of Le Théâtre de la Lune Bleue and DJ Stefunk, there will be entertainment all afternoon to be enjoyed by the whole family!
12:00 - Official welcome by the Honorary French Consul
12:45-13:45 - Houle ma Poule, traditional music from around the world
14:00-15:00 - "So far, so close" a shadow theatre performance on Victor Hugo's exile to Jersey
15:00-16:00 - Pentabones, a trombone quintet set to take us on a journey through iconic film scores and an eclectic mix of covers
16:00-17:00 - DJ Stefunk will delight us with French music

L’APÉRO DU CONSUL
Tout le monde est invité à partager un moment convivial pour célébrer (un peu en avance) la Fête nationale française.
À 12h00, le Consul honoraire de France prononcera un discours officiel pour vous souhaiter la bienvenue, puis nous chanterons La Marseillaise avant de partager le vin d'honneur du 14 juillet (boissons et amuse-bouches offerts).
Avec deux groupes amateurs venus spécialement de Normandie pour se produire sur la scène du French Festival, le spectacle de marionnettes du Théâtre de la Lune Bleue et DJ Stefunk, l’après-midi s’annonce riche en animations pour toute la famille !

14h00-15h00 – "So far, so close", théâtre d’ombres sur l’exil de Victor Hugo à Jersey
15h00-16h00 – Pentabones, quintet de trombones qui joue avec brio musiques de films et reprises en tout genre
16h00-17h00 – DJ Stefunk nous régalera avec un mix de musique française
