Camouflage Net Weaving Workshop

To coincide with our current exhibition, ‘Unbroken Threads: Ukrainians Reflections on home, community & hope’ join us on Saturday, 4 October at 12-2pm, for a hands on workshop led by Yulia from the Dundee Netting Project. We will be contributing to the creation of a camouflage nets.

Camouflage nets are hand-woven and require a lot of time as they need to be wide and long, which is why Ukrainians most often weave them together. The weaving itself is not complicated, following a pattern, but the designs must be varied so that they cannot be recognised from a drone.

No booking required. Included with museum admission.
