Part of the St Saviour's Church Beer and Fizz Festival 2025....
We are very excited to be involved again this year with the St Saviour's Church Beer and Fizz Festival 202 5! The festival is held over three days, offering fine ales, cider and a selection of fizz curated by the team at Save St Albans’ Pubs and Cellar Door Wines in the unique surroundings of St Saviour’s Church. There will be live music with local bands throughout the weekend and a fantastic choice of street food vendors.
The late afternoon sparkling wine tasting will be presented by Jen Connan of the Hertfordshire Wine School and supported by Cellar Door Wines . Proceeds from the tasting will go to the St Saviour's nominated charities for the weekend.
We will be tasting 6 sparkling wines in total including Champagne, Prosecco, Cava, Crémant and other traditional method wines from around the globe. We will cover rosé, blanc de blanc, blanc de noir, non- vintage and vintage styles. There will be cheese, cured meats and snacks provided to keep you going for the afternoon. You will learn to see and taste the difference between bottle fermented sparkling wine and tank method bubbles and have great fun in the process!
