St Albans is the place to be on Fathers Day Sunday Sept 7th!
Give Dad a special treat with a country drive to a true farmers market, great coffee, an awesome kids park, and our two nearby fully licensed local institutions – the iconic Convict built Settlers Arms Inn and the Pickled Wombat Café.
This month the good folk from St Albans Common are pretty much running the market – cooking up a storm with a great Aussie bbq, promoting their coming Fishing & Camp Cooking Competition, and fundraising for that event – so they have the gate too – where your gold coin donation per adult entry will be very much appreciated, giving you a ticket in the stallholder sample basket raffle – drawn at day’s end.
You can learn more about this much loved local event and even book your tickets via this link:

Also in our market on that day, along with all your favourite regular local producers, you will find an ever changing lineup of visiting stallholders, high quality produce and crafts, including Hawkesbury Rums, Vodkas, Gins, Honey, Honeycomb, Jams, Relishes, 3D printed Dinosaurs, Candles, Pottery and a whole lot more.
Please bring some cash as not all stallholders have eftpos, but most do.
The nearest ATM is at Wisemans Ferry grocery store, before you get on the 4 min Webbs Creek Car Ferry, and then enjoy your scenic 21km drive down St Albans Road.
AND THERE’S MORE…
- Giant Games are set up in the shade, with dedicated seating
- Your fur babies are always welcome – on a lead please
St Albans is a beautiful family daytrip and weekender destination in the northern Hawkesbury that attracts visitors from north west Sydney, the lower Blue Mountains, lower Hunter Valley, and the Central Coast.
