Dr. Nicolas L. Ziebarth, Sam B. Cook Professor of Economics at the University of Missouri-Columbia, will provide an overview of what tariffs are, how they work, and how they've been used historically. It will also dispel some common misconceptions about the economic effects of tariffs and the trade deficit.
The event will start promptly at 6:30 P.M. (CT) and will begin with a presentation by Dr. Ziebarth, followed by a Q&A session. Open discussion and audience participation are hallmarks of the Langenberg Speaker Series, so the Q&A session will make up a significant part of the program.
Don't miss this opportunity to engage in meaningful conversations and expand your horizons. Reserve your spot today!
