Join us for a full day of fun, learning, and community as the Outriggerzone Community Paddling Initiative comes to Squamish! Whether you’re new to paddling or curious about outrigger canoeing, this is the perfect opportunity to get started.
🛶 Morning Sessions (OC6 Canoes)
Session Times: 9:00 AM | 10:00 AM | 11:00 AM
We’ll start the day with three one-hour introductory sessions in 6-person outrigger canoes (OC6). Each session includes a short on-land instructional segment followed by a guided paddle on the water.
• 10 seats per session – Please RSVP and mention which time
you would like when registering
• Canoes, paddles, and instruction provided by OCPI
• PFDs available, but please bring your own if you have one
• Please arrive early for your session to sign a waiver and help
keep the day running on time
• Dress for the weather and wet feet!
🌊 Afternoon Demos & Paddle
In the afternoon, try out OC1, V1, and OC2 canoes in short demos and, depending on weather conditions, join a longer OC6 paddle exploring the Sound.

If you enjoy the experience, you’re invited to join the Squamish Outrigger Team! We train weekly in OC1, OC2, and OC4, with the goal of developing into a competitive crew that travels and races across B.C.
