Friday Vert Day - Shadow Race

Locals know: the best efforts don’t need race bibs.

On Friday, August 22nd, our friends at Arc'teryx will spend the day posted up at the top of the Sea-to-Sky Gondola. We are calling on the quietly competitive to throw down a self-timed effort up the Climb trail (formerly the EVAC) at the Sea-to-Sky Gondola. No registration, no crowds, just you, your watch and one of Squamish’s steepest backyard classics.

The format?
No start gun, no crowds. Clock your time on the SKATSHN Climb trail (formerly called the EVAC) then check in at the Arc’teryx Academy Chill Zone at the top of the Sea to Sky Gondola with proof in hand to submit your effort. Fastest times score prizes, and we’re also rewarding grit, style, and good old-fashioned participation.

When?

On Friday, August 22nd, you can hike or run the SKATSHN Climb between 9:00 AM and 2:00 PM and submit your result at the Arc’teryx Academy Chill Zone at the top of the Sea-to-Sky Gondola.

We’ll also host a group effort at 9:00 AM, meeting at the base of the Gondola. Join us if you want to go up with others, whether you’re there to throw down or just to enjoy a social climb.
