Join Carolyn of Lavender Ridge at Sky Island Homestead for an autumn morning of tea and fun as we explore mystic mugwort. This workshop is held outdoors in the orchard bell tent or snuggled up in our sugar shack with rain.
During our time together you will:
naturally dye a mugwort dream sachet: learn how to calculate a communal dye vat
handcraft mugwort incense
botanically blend your dream pillow contents with organically grown plants from the farm (lavender, calendula, mugwort, rose are a few examples.)
hear a bit on the folklore of mugwort and its infinity with the dream world and goddess energy

Mugwort (Artemisia vulgaris) has a strong worldly historical use and growing scientific information as a medicinal herb. Mugwort is not advised for PREGNANT/NURSING and ALLERGY PRONE persons as it can cause uterine contractions and skin irritation. While we will be taking all safety precautions in respecting the plant and its powers (wearing gloves, working outside in a ventilated area, no topical or internal application of the plant) I invite you to research mugwort for your personal safety and to deepen your plant knowledge.
