Starling Shakespeare company is coming to Springfield, IL!

Friday, July 25th: THE COMEDY OF ERRORS
Join Starling Shakespeare Company for The Comedy of Errors!

What: Double the trouble, double the fun! Shakespeare’s The Comedy of Errors is a fast-paced romp full of mistaken identities, witty wordplay, laugh-out-loud confusion, and, in our production, puppets! When two sets of identical twins are unknowingly reunited in the same city, chaos and comedy ensue. Come see Starling Shakespeare Company take on this chaotic classic in their signature fast-paced, 5-actor style.

Join Starling Shakespeare Company for Hamlet!
When: July 26th, 2025 - 6:30 pm
Where: Enos Park, Springfield, IL
What: To be [at the show] or not to be, that is the question! Shakespeare’s Hamlet is the classic story of a family, and a kingdom, torn apart by political unrest, corruption, and grief. When the king of Denmark is killed under mysterious circumstances, Prince Hamlet is visited by a specter that accuses Hamlet's uncle, the new king of Denmark, of foul play. Hamlet must then decide whether or not to trust the spirit, and his own suspicions, and avenge his father.
With only 5 actors, Starling's shows are fast-placed, playful, and nimble interpretations of the Bard's classic plays. And at only 90 minutes, they're perfect for date night or an afternoon out with the family!
