THIS IS FOR OUR HALF DAY SCHOOL READINESS CAMP FOR 4-6 YEAR OLDS!
☀️Hello!☀️
We are so excited you are considering our Nature Based Enrichment Camp at Roots Therapy Solutions. These groups are led by occupational therapists with intent to enrich all children in our community through nature based experiences. Our groups include learning opportunities and development of fine motor, gross motor, sensory regulation, executive functioning and social skills that can be used now and as they develop readiness for the academic context. With several years in school based practice, the occupational therapists leading these groups are highly equipped to align school expectations with fun play based experiences to build skills needed for lasting academic success.
This is a drop off camp. Your child will participate in nature exploration/hikes, building with natural materials, group games, scavenger hunts, sensory play, open-ended creative art/craft/experiential activities, and free play! Those who attend should plan to pack a water bottle, comfortable shoes, and clothes to match the weather for the day. We are looking forward to having SO much fun!
Nature Based Summer Camps 2025
Camp 2: School Readiness Camp
Dates: July 28-31st
Time: 9AM-12PM (drop off class)
Ages: 4-6
Details: At Valley Water Mill Park, 2450 E Valley Water Mill Rd., Springfield, MO 65803
Cost: $200 for 4 Camp Days
**Camps must reach a minimum of 10 participants in order to be held
**These are enrichment camps to include all children, not just those needing therapy. This includes ages 4+
PLEASE NOTE: During camps, we are not staffed to provide 1:1 support for children who currently have significant behaviors or daily living assistance (feeding, toileting) that consistently require the full attention of a staff member. We welcome you to apply for individual occupational therapy if your child requires highly individualized support. This can prepare them to join groups at a later date!
Please complete this registration form for our camp opportunities. You can select opportunities matching your interest below. There are limited spots so be sure to sign up quickly to secure your spot! We will fill camps in the order we receive forms and payment. Once spots are filled, we will place you on a waitlist. Following receipt of this form, we will email you a camp Detail Letter and invoice to be paid via IVY pay. It will come via text message to the phone number matching the one below. Once this has been paid, your spot will be reserved!
