With nearly 20 years of experience in developing and executing grants programs for a variety of Miami Valley nonprofits, Jenny has learned a thing or two how to get and stay organized for successful grant writing.
In this session, Jenny will review the key components of what she considers a βgrant-readyβ organization. Sheβll provide guidance for developing grant boilerplate content, a checklist of the commonly requested grant application attachments, a master grants tracking and calendar tool to stay organized, document storage systems, and more. Sheβll provide guidance on building relationships with funders to enhance success as well as share a real-life example of a local organizationβs first year grant writing outcomes.
NOTE: This program will focus on seeking local foundation funding. It will not address state or federal grant funding opportunities.
Bonus: A special drawing for a giveaway for a free MVNC program this Fall! Attendees will have a chance to win a free Β½ day training program of their choice. www.mvnonprofitcollaborative.org/events
