Auditions for "Fine Art Fatality" will take place on August 8 and August 9, 2025 from 6-8PM both nights. There are parts for 8 roles, which are a combination of scripted monologues and improvisation. This is a murder mystery dinner theatre production.

Theme: At the Springfield Art Association in the 1920s, there is a workshop and critique planned by Henry Mann. Unfortunately, he is murdered before the workshop can begin! Help one of SAA's founding mothers solve the crime committed by one of six artists.
Characters:
Georgia Miner: She is one of the founders of SAA and takes her position seriously. She steps in as a detective until the police can arrive. (Woman, 40s)
Alice Jess: She is one of the founders of SAA and works well with Georgia. She is like an assistant to Georgia being detective. (Woman, 30s-40s)
Jacques Boucher, an Oil Painter: He is a well known and well regarded French artist with a high opinion of himself. (Man, 30s+)
Gertrude Lewis, a Sculptor: She is a romantic and dramatic person, who often gives way to fits of passion. (Woman, 20s+)
Adelaide Armstrong, a Potter: She is mysterious and astrology focused. She draws people in with her odd and nonchalant attitude. She is married to Alfred. (Woman, 20s+)
Otto Schmucker, a Jeweler: He is a German immigrant who left his country after WWI due to the depression. He is calm, but can feel ominous and/or creepy. (Man, 40s+)
Alfred Stinton, a China Painter: He is mild-mannered, with an obsession for tiny details. He has a strong sense of right and wrong and has no patience for those that stray from it. He is married to Adelaide. (Man, 20s+)
Fannie Weaver, a Weaver: She is a fearful person, shying away from noise and being put on the spot. She has confidence in her work, but self-conscious about things she doesn't understand. (Woman, 30s+)
