Candle Decorating & Intuition Flow with Karen

Join Essential Yoga Studio as we host long-time yoga instructor Karen Ragsdale for an afternoon of Candle Decorating & Intuition Flow on Saturday, April 26 from 2-4p.

Designed to bring stillness and connection into the body and mind, we'll start by decorating our candles for the Trataka, or ‘fixed-gaze’, meditation, using crystals, dried flowers and herbs.

After, we’ll take a gentle, intuition-led flow to find the movement that we each need personally; simple pose suggestions will be offered but students will be encouraged to meet their own movement and stretch needs inside that pose, or to find an alternative pose instead, practicing mindfulness as they listen to their body and what it is asking for.

Post flow, we’ll light our candles for Trataka meditation, bringing stillness into the mind, before finding our rest in savasana.

Two ticket options available:
- $20 for the event and one candle to decorate
- $25 for the event, one candle to decorate, and two additional decorated candles to take home!
