One of my all-time favorite quilts to make is the disappearing 9 patch. This is a quilt that you can put together in day. It may look complicated, but it’s actually very easy. If you are a beginner or maybe you are just not confident in your skills yet or maybe you are and you just love to sew this is the perfect class for you!

Supplies needed:
A working sewing machine
Power cord
1/4 inch foot
Bobbins
Your favorite sewing notions:
A seam ripper
Snips/scissors
Rotary cutter
Purple thang or similar (not required but handy)
What you need to make your quilt.
To make a scrappy quilt like the blue & yellow one in the picture (Lap quilt)
-You will need ONE 10” Layer Cake
If you want to make it more like the mauve colored quilt which is more like a full size quilt.
-You will need A 10 inch layer cake
& 30 - 10” squares of the same color choice (2 1/4 yds) & 10- 10” squares of a contrasting color (1/3 yd)
In case you want to make your own layer cake you need 4 -10.5” strips WOF light fabrics & 4 - 10.5” strips WOF dark fabrics & 1-10.5” strips WOF contrasting fabric. This will make
16 light colored 10” squares
16 dark/variety 10” squares
4 variety or the same contrasting colors 10” squares.
& a coordinating thread
