Aerial Yoga

Aerial Yoga is a combination of traditional yoga asana movements while suspended in the air with the help of a hammock. Suspension from the hammock eases pressure on your body, creates space in your joints, decompresses your spine, and makes you more mobile. Allowing your body to flow through a series of traditional yoga poses easily with the added fun of doing it while suspended in air.

This hour class will introduce you to aerial asanas emphasizing basic alignment and foundation while balancing using the hammock with a focus on inversions.

Wear comfortable, fitted clothing (fitted clothing is best for checking form and performance, especially in inversions). Clothing that covers both arms and legs will help against possible friction with the hammocks.

Please leave all jewelry at home, it can snag the fabric. Also, Please avoid wearing makeup and scents as these will stain the hammocks.

There is a weight limit of 250 lbs.
